Technical JA TERROR meeting to discuss deliverables across work packages will take place in Oslo, Norway on 5th and 6th June 2024.
Participants in the workshop evaluated clinical management guidelines for selected biological and chemical agents, to be used in the event of a terror attack.
Partners of Work Package on Risk and Crisis Communication (Internal and Public) are inviting you to International Workshop on Risk and Crisis Communication. The event will take place in Athens, on the 8th and 9th of February 2024.
The Commission has allocated almost €70 million to fund the development of new specialised teams and equipment to further strengthen the preparedness and response to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risks.
Workshop to evaluate clinical management Guidelines drafted by WP5 will be held on 12 - 14 March 2024 in Rome. This workshop will evaluate clinical management guidelines for selected biological (Yersinia pestis and orthopoxviruses) and chemical agents (chlorine and nerve agents), to be used in the event of a terror attack.
On 14 December JA TERROR was granted a non-cost extenstion for 1 year. It will run until 31 December 2024. The pandemic delayed the effective start and running of Joint Action TERROR. Therefore, it was agreed with SC and Partnership Forum to request a non-cost extension of the Joint Action until the end of 2024. Effectively extending the duration of the project from 36 to 48 months.
In order to engage with external stakeholders all the counties involved with JA Terror are organizing National Stakeholder Meetings. The aim of the meetings is to provide insight of the project progress, as well as to foster better collaboration between stakeholders coming from Health, Security and Civil Protection fields on the national level.
Work Package 6 (WP6) has organised a two days’ workshop on cross-sectoral collaboration in the response to a biological or chemical terror attack. The workshop took place in Zagreb (Croatia), on 29 and 30 November 2023, with the participation of 45 experts from 13 European JA partners’ countries, from the three relevant sectors: Health, Security-Law Enforcement, and Civil Protection.
Partners of the Joint Action TERROR Consortium gathered in Brussels on 16th and 17th November 2023 to participate in a Workshop on Sustainability and Dissemination.
