WP 5 Leaders (Health Preparedness & Response planning to biological and chemical terrorist attacks) invite you to attend workshop to evaluate clinical management Guidelines drafted by WP5. Workshop will be held on 12 – 14 March 2024 at National Institute for Infectious Diseases, L. Spallanzani, Rome, Italy.

This workshop will evaluate clinical management guidelines for selected biological (Yersinia pestis and orthopoxviruses) and chemical agents (chlorine and nerve agents), to be used in the event of a terror attack.

All WP leaders and partner countries are asked to nominate an expert in chemical and/or biological agents from your country/WP working group who could contribute to this workshop. WP leaders are welcome to attend also, to see how the guidelines might be used in their WP or country.

Participants from each country should be public health professionals, medical professionals, first responders or those with experience in dealing with/responding to chemical or biological threats, especially experience with the selected agents mentioned above. They should also hold a position with sufficient authority to provide information that will represent the views of the country they represent on deliberate terror attacks.
