11. 9. 2024
JA TERROR is excited to announce an upcoming webinar focused on Community Resilience within the framework of the Work Package on Risk and Crisis Communication (both internal and public). The webinar will take place on Monday, 30th September 2024, from 13:00 to 13:45 CET.
Registration for the event is still available here.
Webinar Focus:
The primary aim of the webinar is to offer guidance on evaluating the role of community preparedness and engagement in risk and crisis communication, particularly in the event of a biological or chemical terror attack within Europe. During crises, effective communication is crucial for saving lives and minimizing harm. Involving the community in preparedness activities can significantly enhance the effectiveness of crisis responses.
By engaging the community in planning and preparedness:
- Trust is built between authorities and the public.
- Communication efforts during crises become more effective and efficient.
- Culturally relevant and accessible messages are crafted, ensuring a better understanding of the situation.
- Individuals are empowered to take an active role in their safety and resilience, fostering a coordinated response during emergencies.
