Online Partnership Forum
17. 2. 2022
On Thursday, 17th February 2022 more than 60 partners of Joint Action TERROR participated in an online Partnership Forum. The online meeting was organized by the Coordinator for Joint Action TERROR
The digital Partnership Forum was a teaser for the live event which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 24th to 26th May 2022. All Joint Action TERROR partners are invited to attend the event.
The digital Partnership Forum was an opportunity to acknowledge the great efforts made by all Work Packages in the Joint Action. The pandemic has obviously had an impact on the Joint Action, but all Work Packages have been working hard to make up for lost time.
The goal of the digital Partnership Forum was to bring all partners up to speed on developments and planned tasks for Joint Action TERROR.
The Partnership Forum was addressed by EU representatives: Nichola Larkins from European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA), Virginia Arnecchi from Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), Wiktor Wojtas from Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) and Simon Stermann from Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). They welcomed the cross-sectoral approach and highlighted the need to deliver sustainable outcomes from the Joint Action Terror.
Work Package Leaders presented the initiated activities across the 8 Work Packages. The Joint Action Terror Consortium is setting up a broad stakeholder network that will enable us to reach health, law enforcement and civil protection sectors across Europe.
Surveys on health preparedness and response, cross-sectoral collaboration and dual use technologies are in planning stage and a literature review on synthetic opioids is under way. A Workshop on crisis communication and a workshop on sustainability are also being developed.
