After three years of dedicated effort, with an extension of one additional year, we are pleased to announce the conclusion of JA TERROR on 31 December 2024. Launched with the aim of strengthening preparedness and response to biological and chemical terror attacks, this project has made significant strides in improving the region’s readiness for biological and chemical terror attacks.

Throughout its duration, the project focused on several critical areas, including enhancing the collaboration between health sector, security sector and civil protection. By fostering partnerships between stakeholders from all three sectors at the national levels, we have contributed to better preparedness and response to chemical and a biological terror attacks.

Key achievements of the project include finding best practices, organizing workshops that brought together leading experts, the creation of comprehensive guidelines and publishing literature reviews.

As we wrap up this monumental project, we would like to express our gratitude to all participants, stakeholders, and contributors who played an integral role in this initiative.

Importantly, while the project has officially concluded, the impact of our work will continue to resonate. We will be publishing additional deliverables on our dedicated webpage.
